2010: A new trail and a new challenge! TRAILTREKKER challenges your team of four to walk 100km through some of Ireland's most spectacular terrain in 36 hours. You’ll have to start the route together, go through each checkpoint together, and finish together. You'll also have to train and fundraise together beforehand.

This 11 day trip includes 3 full days of trekking, two half days trekking and 4 days of charity project labour, renovating the school playground. The existing playground facilities are poor and stripped of essential parts, making it useless to the children. The facilities need to be restructured and fitted with non-removable component parts that will withstand the test of African usage more effectively.

The UK Wild Challenge is a three day multi activity team challange over Exmoor and following the River Exe to Exmouth. From Coast to Coast teams of 3 to 6 will take on the mix terrain walking, navigation, mountain biking, kayaking, orienteering and mini team challenges. Now in its fourth year this challenge has gained a reputation for being one of the toughest multi challenges in one of the UK's most wild and scenic locations.

Racers will start at sea level in Inverness on the east coast of Scotland and will travel by bike, foot and kayak the entire length of the Great Glen, which stretches over 100km, in just 24 hours. The final challenge will involve a traverse of Ben Nevis, reaching the highest point in the UK before descending to the finish in Fort William on the west coast.

On our school charity project we will work to restore and extend a community school in the remote village of Forte, about 90 km from Alto Paraíso. It is a very small village situated right beside the Chapada dos Vaedeiros National Park and consists of about 200 people. They have a rich history and culture, with a strong sense of community with entire family groups joining in to help with mud crafts and manioc flour. View full details of the project here.

On this exhilarating adventure you will journey over 80km in five days. You will trek far off the usual tourist paths, along the spectacular ridges of the Yanshan Mountain Range, following the sinuous path of the Great Wall. You will encounter a varied landscape and experience local life and culture; from the giant ramparts of the Great Wall, to the lush forests and terraced farmland of rural China, finishing where old meets new in the colourful metropolis of Beijing.
