This fantastic new ultra and marathon adventure race will be run across the vast, wild and remote area of the Grand Canyon North Rim. The North Rim of the Grand Canyon remains untamed and isolated – an uplifted, forested plateau surrounded by arid desert. Although only 10 miles (as the crow flies) from the busy tourist area of the South Rim, the North Rim is more than 200 miles away by road.

Adventure Race Namibia 24 hour Ultra Marathon 42km or 126km. 2013.15 October 2013 to 23 October 2013 Adventure Racing
126km - 3 marathons - in 24 hours. This will be the 4th successful year of the Namibia 24 hour Ultra Marathon, which is rapidly becoming known as the ultimate endurance test for distance runners.
Your marathon route will take you through some of Africa’s most remarkable scenery, past stunning remote desert mountains and through ancient meteor craters to the remote and inhospitable Skeleton Coast. Follow in the footsteps of the elite Mens Fitness team and the BBC's Blue Peters Helen Skelton and take up the challenge of a lifetime.
