Dog Sled in the Arctic Circle, 2012 February.20 February 2012 to 26 February 2012 Just Events
This is a fantastic opportunity to dog sled in the Arctic Circle, in the far north of Norway. You will be in charge of your own team of huskies, as you sled over 200km from our base camp across frozen lakes, through deep snow, and into the Norwegian wilderness.
In the evenings we will stay at lodges, and relax in the sauna after a hard day's sledding. The pristine beauty of Lapland and the alienness of this snowbound environment is truly something to behold. The sense of space you get from standing outside your cabin watching the majestic display of the Northern Lights is quite unique.
