Please do come prepared for the walk with the necessary kit for all weathers! Read on for full kit lists. There is free parking at the racecourse* and this will be signposted for you on the day.
0940hrs - Sign-in closes. All walkers will need to gather for the JUST WALK opening ceremony (with the infamous ATD warm-up!) and then the 10km and the 20km routes start together. Please allow yourself plenty of time to get to the venue, and sign-in so you are ready to gather at 0945hrs.
1000hrs - JUST WALK 10km and 20km routes start.
1130hrs - Big cheers all round as the first expected 10km walkers return back to the racecourse for a huge congratulations and refreshments
1400hrs - This is the time that we expect the final walkers to cross the line after walking for 10km, a great achievement.
These walkers will have put in a big effort and will need a massive amount of encouragement and support as they cross the line, so we welcome all who wish to stay and support the walkers over the finish line.
Why not get your family and friends to come and meet you and cheer you over the finish line?
Testimonials
The organisation and choice of location for Just Walk were very impressive both in the lead up to and during the event. I can now tell you the total raised for TreeHouse was a fantastic £14,543.50 which we are truly delighted with, especially as it was our first time participating in the event. This money will make a huge difference and help us ensure more children with autism have access to the education they deserve in order to realise their potential. We will certainly be promoting Just Walk and Just Bike in the future as they offer something quite unique for our supporters by providing an opportunity for people to take part in a group and make a day of it. Lisa Yiasemides, TreeHouse, the national charity for autism education.
A friend and I did the 60km Just Walk challenge on Saturday at Goodwood. We would both just like to say a massive thank you to everyone from your company that was involved. We had a lovely (but tiring) day. We were really impressed with how well it was all organised and how helpful all the staff were. This is the first time we have done something through your company but one of many challenges we have done, but in future we will definitely keep an eye out for other challenges on your website. Many thanks again.
