British Red Cross
The British Red Cross is a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their own communities. When the crisis is over, we help people recover and move on with their lives.

Cardiomyopathy Association
People diagnosed with cardiomyopathy face a bewildering situation as they come to terms with their situation and seek to learn more about the condition. The Cardiomyopathy Association is there to help them. Our services respond to the feelings of anxiety, isolation and confusion that people commonly feel when affected by cardiomyopathy. We understand and we sympathise but mostly we take action to help.
Help us to fight cardiomyopathy.
Child Welfare Scheme (CWS)
We are an international development organisation, dedicated to supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young people in Nepal. We work closely with local Nepalese organisations, on projects which are child-focused, child-friendly, and aim to empower children and communities to create a brighter future for themselves.

Kids Company
Kids Company was established by Camila Batmanghelidjh in 1996. We provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children and young people. Many of the 14,000 children we support have experienced severe and multiple trauma. Often these are ‘lone children’ living in chronic deprivation, with little or no support from the adults in their family.
We support these incredibly courageous children and young people by offering a safe, caring, family environment. We deliver services in 38 inner-city schools, two street-level centres, an early intervention therapy house and an over 16s educational academy. In 2007 Kids Company was awarded the Liberty and Justice Human Rights Award. Visit our website at www.kidsco.org.uk

Our international programmes support people with disabilities including the promotion of disabled children’s rights to a meaningful education; provision of training and economic support to help disabled people find employment and provision of a wide range of care and support services, including residential, health and rehabilitation, support for everyday living and home-based care.

Wessex Heartbeat
Wessex Heartbeat was established in 1992 and thanks to the generosity of many individuals and organisations over the years, we have been able to make a real difference to the care of the patients of the Wessex Cardiac Centre (WCC) in Southampton. Now a Centre of Excellence, the WCC treats over 20,000 patients annually and around 1000 babies and children born with congenital heart defects. Cardiovascular disease causes nearly 40% of all deaths annually in the UK. This sadly means that at some time, most of us will be affected by this disease whether it is ourselves, our loved ones or our colleagues. Our Mission is to ensure that everyone affected by heart conditions receives the best possible support.
