ACE - Animal Care in Egypt
ACE is a fully functioning Veterinary Hospital based in Luxor, we provide free veterinary care and treatment to all kinds of neglected and abused animals, we are also committed to prevention through education of animal care and maintenance. ACE has already seen the difference this can make. We have an official education programme with up to 300 children a week visiting us from local schools to learn that animals feel pain and should be treated with respect as they serve their human masters.
ACE has been established for 10 years and is growing fast due to the desperate need for our services. Over 5,000 animals can come through our gates every month, most require medical attention from our qualified Egyptian and International vets. Many are just brought to use the washing facilities before another long day’s work in the hot sun. ACE support some of the poorest families of Egypt by providing them with free veterinary and maintenance services for their working animals, often their only means of providing for their family.
ACE is a small charity making a big difference in Egypt, doing all that we can to ensure better animal welfare standards in the future for all animals of Egypt.
