What people say about us

Don’t just take our word for it
'Behind every challenge and adventure is a logistics team that work tirelessly behind the scenes. Across The Divide provide the support and logistics that ensured a safe and successful adventure. They organised the event in record time without compromising safety or quality.
Quite simply, we couldn't have done it without them".
Ben Fogle
“We choose Across the Divide to source and plan our trip, primarily because of the principles that underpin the way that they work. From the very first meeting we had, what they stood for shone through, and it meant a lot to us that they weren’t after a quick buck – they genuinely cared about the community we would be helping and the wellbeing of our staff. We were extremely confident that Across the Divide were able to provide us with a high quality, sustainable project which above all else fulfilled our purpose – to help more people feel better. This needed to include our staff who had won their place on the trip because their colleagues had chosen them as deserving winners. We had to be confident that their individual needs would be a high priority and that first and foremost they would be taken care of both physically and emotionally.”

"Whilst we are always seeking new ways to improve our business for growth, it seems we try too hard looking for the solutions. The HFH weekend allowed myself and colleagues to open our minds to real life issues happening across the world which in return gave me the drive and enthusiasm to realise what to do to improve our relationships at work, we used each others skills , some we thought never existed to bring out our survival techniques in unison, which seem to be a natural in us all. The event was great for team moral and whilst we built our own shelters and raised a huge amount of money for a worthwhile charity, we built and secured relationships within our company too."

Saira Is-Haq from NHBC, Habitat for Humanity Hope Challenge UK
“I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the rest team for organising and supervising this event. It was a huge challenge, parts of it were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed (the rest stops!!) and other parts were hard going (the big hills!) But what a sense of achievement when we crossed that finish line after 10 hours 59 minutes of walking! The support and encouragement we received from the people at each checkpoint was amazing, it really helped to boost morale and keep you going. Especially the people at the halfway point and the last one. They were brilliant, really really lovely. Without them we probably would have given up.”

“Well today I'm back at my desk but still on a high from a fantastic experience in the colds of Norway with a wonderful bunch of people. Not a lot of work getting done though, my web browser has been spent mainly on Facebook and the ATD website looking at what I fancy doing next. Thanks for organising a truly amazing trip that really lived up to everything that had been promised about it. Ceri and Sian from ATD were truly superb - great fun to be with and really helpful during the tougher moments. and of course, no Sledding trip is complete without mention of the man, the legend, Per Thore…! What a guy. Loved his attitude to life and his ability to turn his hand to anything. Truly another memorable experience courtesy of ATD.”

“Yes the trip was amazing & very challenging. I just wanted to add that the Expedition Leader and Doctor were so fantastic (extremely professional). Yet again a credit to ATD. Ian & Lucy were able to mix buisness with pleasure and so easily. Due to the size of our group there have been some super friendships & super memories to take away. Overall, the main thing for me was how mentally demanding as well as physically demanding the summit day was. It is amazing to see how far we can push our bodies when we really want to acheive something. Mind over body at times. Summit Night/Day pulss from every reserve your body has to offer. The mountain & route were outstanding. We never met a soul until we reached Kibo hut which was an added bonus. We had that side of the mountain completely to ourselves. Thank you to all the staff who worked behind the scenes and with us on the trip for the hard work that went in to making it such a wonderful success. I look forward to more in the future.”
