Iceland, The “Laugavegur Ultra Marathon/ Adventure race” course is one of the most beautiful in Iceland, stretching from Landmannalaugar in the highlands to Thorsmork, a natural reservation area. The area is famous for the yellow, orange and purple hues of the surrounding mountains. The race blazes a trail through moss fields, meadows of wool grass, steam springs, and bizarre lava formations, where various blossoms defy the raw climate.
