The Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho is much underrated and hidden behind the glamour of its larger neighbour, South Africa, but our challenges offer a chance to explore this fascinating country before the inevitable step of progress treks across this hidden land.

Lesotho Charity Trek
Our trek takes us into the beautiful Tsehlanyane National Park, through mountain passes and past tiny mountain villages. The trek finishes at the Golden Gate Highland's National Park, which is a series of escarpments that drop down from Lesotho into South Africa. |

Lesotho Charity Project The Basotho people in rural areas live a simple, typically rural African life tending their crops on the slopes of the formidable mountainous terrain where villages dot the landscape as far as the eye can see. They are a proud but friendly people who go around wrapped up in colourful blankets which have become the Basotho trade mark. |
