Charity fundraising, corporate social responsibility projects and outdoor events

Our English and Welsh events are a reflection of the fact that our clients, having used Across the Divide for their overseas charity challenges, charity treks and bike rides, realise that the same level of service and expertise that they have come to expect as standard with us are equally important here at home, and that second best is not good enough. With JUST WALK you can even raise money for any charity of your choice.

As well as offering a wide variety of UK fundraising events we also offer, through Expedition Medicine & Leadership, a wide range of expedition medicine training courses that are widely accepted as being the benchmark in their particular area. Expedition Medicine

Across the Divide have teamed up with Habitat for Humanity for this two day outdoors challenge for teams - with a difference. Teams will not only be hiking over the stunning Peak District but will be taking on mini challenges and will have the chance to build their own team shelters along the way.
In 1976 Habitat for Humanity was founded with the sole aim of tackling poverty housing on a global scale. Thirty years later they are working in 92 countries around the world and have built 225,000 homes in partnership with people in need of simple, decent housing.

What people have said about our charity fundraising events:

'I had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, made some new friends and discovered a lot about myself. I would like to thank the entire team for a wonderful experience. I will definitely be there next year'

On behalf of the Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team, I would like tosend our sincerest thanks to Acorss the Divide Expeditions for your generous donation. Genevieve Ward, Treasurer.

'I cannot remember having written to an organisation before to comment on the level of service provided but after my experience it is certainly the correct thing to do. I am Managing Director of a hotel company and I am therefore fully aware of the problems and difficulties that can present themselves when dealing with a large group of people and the requirement to pull together various associates and service providers in order to seamlessly provide a high level of service which exceeds your client's expectations'.

.......although I have to tell you no one would believe I wasn't on the course. I have barely stopped talking about it and have given your web address to well to everyone! (I don't even think they are trying to shut me up by asking, its generally thought impossible to shut me up!)

The course was absolutely fantastic. so organized, smoothly run, seamless transition from one thing to another, interesting, informative and so much FUN. I can only imagine the effort and immense work that must go into making the four days so fabulous for us all. The enthusiasm of all the "faculty" and the evening lecturers for the subject was both humbling and inspiring. I am sure they realise what a success the course was but can't help adding my gratitude to the multitude'.

Expedition Medicine Training Course.

The Expedition Medicine faculty aim to prepare both medical professionals and expedition members for the rigors of providing medical care assistance and leadership in areas far from advanced medical facilities.

You do not need an advanced medical degree to come on our courses but the level of training is pitched at participants with a strong medical background and a strong interest in wilderness and remote medicine. Expedition Medicine's clients have included the BBC, the Brazilian Government, Capital Radio, Across the Divide Expeditions and Raleigh International to name but a few.
